I recently finished the book "The Defining Decade" by psychologist Meg Jay. Meg uses biological and statistical research and data to challenge societal norms that say the 20's are a throwaway decade. She believes twentysomethings deserve to know this data and research, encouraging them to harness the now instead of waiting until it's too late. Meg recently spoke at a TED conference, and her talk has sparked both praise and a good deal of criticism. I think any talk that challenges the norm will spark controversy, however I believe what she has to say it good for people of all ages, not just twentysomthings to consider. Watch the video below to decide for yourself.
