A Morning Offering

I bless the night that nourished my heart

To set the ghosts of longing free

Into the flow and figure of a dream

That went to harvest from the dark

Bread for the hunger no one sees.

All that is eternal in me

Welcomes the wonder of this day,

The field of brightness it creates

Offering time for each thing

To arise and illuminate.

Pumpkin Sage

Testing out a sage pumpkin soup recipe topped w roasted chickpeas, sautรฉed shiitake mushrooms and sage leaves, and roasted garlic spread on tuscan toast as a side. Going to make a few more tweaks than I think it will be ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚

Gazpacho Soup

5 varieties of tomatoes blended with lemon juice, garlic, basil, scallions, s and p, red/green peps, EVOO, cukes, and 1/2 a habanero pepper ๐Ÿ’ƒfor a cool gazpacho soup. ๐Ÿ˜Ž One of my favorite things about summer. ๐Ÿ…๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ…๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ…
