Banana Split Smoothie
A banana split smoothie! Inspired by a beautiful marriage of a chocolate craving and having a bunch of farmers-market-fresh cherries on hand.
1 1/2 C nut milk
1/4 C oats
1 Tbsp cacao powder
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 C cherries, pitted
2 bananas, frozen or ripe (use ice cubes if using ripe)
1 Tbsp maple syrup or agave
1-2 medjool dates as needed for sweetness (add more syrup if you don't have these)
1 Tbsp hemp seeds, optional (thickens it a bit and adds omegas/protein)
