This is one of my favorite quotes. I use it a lot for myself or clients when it comes to anxious or depressing thoughts--both of which can be triggered by wrong thinking. The body often responds to our thoughts, tightening up or relaxing, depending on the information it's receiving from the brain. Reminders like a bracelet or phone alarm can be helpful tools to initiate brain and body check-ins, as we often hold tension or think negatively (we are creatures of habit!) and we don't even realize it. Over time these check-ins increase our self-awareness, and we begin catching ourself before the spiral to anxiety or depression begins.
